Description

This is a residential (Class 2 | Cat 1) water loss. The scope of what this Insight Sheet seeks to explore is limited, thus a detailed back story is not required in this case. Matterport’s 3D Pro Scans can be leveraged in nearly every imaginable loss scenario where the interior of the property is affected. As this is a universal activity in the restoration industry, the Board of Actionable Insights sought to highlight the details associated with an activity that does not have a directly associated line item at this time. Because contractors, adjusters, and policyholders can all find immense value in a Matterport 3D scan, we have chosen to present this invoicing template as both a Mitigation and a Repair Insight Sheet. By design, the Insight Sheet Database does not dissect pricing. We are not in the business of telling contractors, claims professionals or Xactware what their prices should be. This Insight Sheet exists to clarify how one might invoice for scanning activities with a Matterport Pro Series camera in a claims environment. This does not seek to include or make concessions for all equipment and/or activities as it relates to a loss of this nature.
