Upcoming Major Additions / Modifications for next month’s 2026 Publication
1: Add items for high grade vinyl cove base molding.
2: Add items for power washing to the PNT (Painting) category.
3: Review Low-E definitions for applicable items in the window categories.
4: Review material associations and definition qualifiers for the snaplock laminate floor series of items.
5: Adding new RFG 300- Standard grade laminated shingle item, including corresponding series of items, for the May publication.
6: Incorporating major brands and product series into the laminated shingle definitions for the new RFG 300- series of items and the RFG 300 series of items for the May publication.
Structural price list items added for the February 2026 price lists
1: CABVENDOR Cabinet Vendor Report/Assessment (Bid Item) (+) (+)
Notes: Cabinet repair assessment following a water or fire event. Bid Item.
2: HMRASBPLA Tear off asbestos plaster (no haul off) (-) (-)
Included: Labor cost to remove asbestos plaster (including lath, if applicable) and to bag for disposal.
Excluded: Asbestos testing, containment barriers (HMR BARR), dump/disposal fees (HMR HWD for hazardous waste disposal), personal protective equipment (HMR PPE*).
Quality: 6 mil bags.
Notes: Debris is double bagged. The labor type used in this item is a hazardous materials remediation technician, who typically performs work relating to hazardous materials, which may include asbestos, lead, mold, etc. Pricing can have a wide variance based on several factors, such as method of removal, condition of plaster, presence and/or type of lath, company's pricing structure, etc. Verisk recommends comparing with specific local costs/bids and making adjustments as necessary.

Excluded: Ducting.
Notes: Materials and labor to create an exhaust opening/port for a window when using negative pressure in an area.
