Upcoming Major Additions / Modifications for August 2025 Publication
1. Review adding labor assumptions for putting on/taking off PPE to full personal protection equipment item assemblies (e.g., WTR PPE, WTR PPE+, etc.).
2. Add item(s) for heat tape for heat pump units.
3. Add item(s) for tension posts in the DRY category.

Structural price list items added for the July 2025 price lists
1. Vanity with countertop - Reset Brick - Add for staging at high level (+) • Included: Installation labor.
• Excluded: Any additional materials, hardware, or manipulation of faucet and sink.
• Notes: This item is intended for use as a reset only; detaching of the vanity cabinet and countertop has previously been performed by another company. This item is for situations where vanity cabinet and countertop are to be reset together, as one piece.
2. CABVANTRS Vanity with countertop - Detach & reset (+) • Included: On-site storage and labor.
• Excluded: Any additional materials, hardware, or manipulation of faucet and sink.
• Notes: Labor cost to detach vanity cabinet with countertop, move to an adjacent room for storage, and reinstall at a later time. This item is for situations where vanity cabinet and countertop are detached and reset together, as one piece.
3. FNCCMHC Cove molding - additional cost for high wall (+) / (-) (+)
• Included: Additional labor charge for installing cove molding on high walls/ceilings.
• Notes: Several factors may affect pricing, including height of ceiling, size or type of cove molding, contractor's pricing structure, etc. Estimators should compare with their local costs and make adjustments if necessary.

6. MTLHRAE Handrail - Aluminum exterior grade (+) • Included: Aluminum handrail, posts, mounting hardware, and labor to assemble and to install.
• Quality: Aluminum exterior grade handrail and posts, with aluminum balusters.
7. PNTSPSBO Seal w/ oil/hybrid stain blocker (1 ct) & paint (1 ct) {V} (+) • Included: Stain/odor sealer, latex paint, thinner, painter's putty, sandpaper, and labor.
• Quality: One coat oil based or water-oil hybrid stain blocker and one coat of paint. Based on low VOC paint; if using no/zero-VOC paint, verify and adjust the material component cost for paint from the "Components" tab of the estimate.
• Notes: Painters frequently remove and reset switch and outlet cover plates, drop and reset simple light fixtures, and move items away from walls to make painting easier. A reasonable amount of this kind of prep work is included. In situations where detaching and resetting fixtures is warranted because of size, situation, and/or a trade licensed contractor being needed for this activity, this assumption would not normally be included and may need to be accounted for separately. The manipulation of larger or excessive amounts of content items may warrant additional/separate items. It is up to the estimator and parties involved to determine if their scenario logically requires modification to the existing item and/or if additional items are needed. Oil primers are often used for odor and stain control and the ability to adhere to a variety of surfaces and paint types. Where applicable, paint material prices are surveyed inclusive of state-mandated fees for stewardship assessment and recycling programs.
8. PNTSPSBS Seal w/shellac/stain blocker (1 coat) & paint (1 coat) {V} (+) • Included: Stain/odor sealer, latex paint, thinner, painter's putty, sandpaper, and labor.
• Quality: One coat of clear or pigmented shellac and one coat of paint. Based on low VOC paint; if using no/zero-VOC paint, verify and adjust the material component cost for paint from the "Components" tab of the estimate.
