March 2024 Price List Changes Summary

Structural price list items added for the March 2024 price lists
1. APPGDR Garbage disposal / disposer - Reset (+) Included: Installation labor.
Excluded: Any additional materials and hardware.
Notes: This item is intended for use as a reset only; detaching of the garbage disposal / disposer has previously been performed by another company.
2. FCCCCSAT California Carpet Stewardship Assessment - Carpet Tile (+) Included: California Carpet Stewardship Assessment for Carpet Tile.
Notes: This assessment is for carpet tile sold in California. As per Carpet America Recovery Effort (www.carpetrecovery.org): the stewardship assessment will always be calculated based on a square yard (SY) total at the current assessment amount. The SY total shall be rounded to 3 decimal points. The product total will be converted to SY prior to calculating the assessment. To convert Square Feet to SY, divide SF quantity by 9. Current pricelists for all California areas include automated calculations for the application of the California Carpet Stewardship Assessment Fee. The automated application of this fee is dependent upon the 4th Quarter 2014 Update of Xactimate version 28. This line item can be used with a manual calculation and entry of the fee amount for estimates written in Xactimate version 27 or estimates written in Xactimate version 28 prior to the update, or for miscellaneous/bid items etc. in current versions when needed.
3. WTRGDD Garbage disposal / disposer - Detach (+) Included: On-site storage and labor.
Excluded: Any additional materials and hardware.
Notes: Labor cost to detach garbage disposal / disposer and store on site. To reattach see item APP GDR.
4. WTRGDDA Garbage disposal / disposer - Detach - after hours (+) Included: On-site storage and labor.
Excluded: Any additional materials and hardware.
Notes: Labor cost to detach garbage disposal / disposer and store on site. To reattach see item APP GDR. A premium charge is used after normal business hours.

Miscellaneous changes made for the February 2024 price lists
The worker wage rate portion of the retail labor rates was updated in the United States and Canada.
Sales tax jurisdictions were updated in relation to a few tax-exempt contents general quote replacement items in Alabama, Arizona, California, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Sales tax jurisdiction were updated in relation to a few taxable contents general quote replacement items in New Jersey, New York, and Vermont.
Applicable sales tax jurisdictions were updated to apply sales tax to tax temporary toilets in Maryland and Minnesota, and sales tax was applied to the total of a few installed landscaping items in Nebraska.
Sales tax jurisdictions were updated to exempt storage vaults from sales tax in California.
Sales tax jurisdictions were updated in relation to sales tax on food in Kansas and Tennessee.
