• Notes: This item is for an asbestos testing company/laboratory's base fee for a full service asbestos survey to travel to home, inspect, take samples, analyze, and report findings, and should be used in conjunction with item TCR ASBTPS for the quantity of samples taken. Price for survey may be affected by factors such as type of materials tested, price structure of the company performing the work, local ordinances, etc. As the pricing for a full service asbestos survey can have a potentially broad range, the estimator should review costs and make adjustments as necessary.
4. TCRASBTPA Asbestos test fee - post abatement air clearance- base fee (+) • Included: Laboratory full service air clearance base charge.
• Excluded: Sample charges (see item TCR ASBTPAS). Asbestos removal/remediation.
• Notes: This item is for an asbestos testing company/laboratory's base fee for a full service asbestos post air clearance survey to travel to home, inspect, take samples, analyze, and report findings, and should be used in conjunction with item TCR ASBTPAS for the quantity of samples taken. Price for survey may be affected by factors such as price structure of the company performing the work, local ordinances, etc. As the pricing for full service asbestos air clearance testing can have a potentially broad range, the estimator should review costs and make adjustments as necessary.
5. TCRASBTPAS Asbestos test fee- post abatement air clearance-per sample (+) • Included: Laboratory full service air clearance additional per sample fee.
• Excluded: Asbestos removal/remediation.
• Notes: Per sample fee by an asbestos testing company, added to the base fee (TCR ASBTPA). Price for sample may be affected by factors such as price structure of the company performing the work, local ordinances, etc. This item should be used in conjunction with item TCR ASBTPA and is not intended for a self test.
6. TCRASBTPS Asbestos test fee - full service survey - per sample (+) • Included: Laboratory full service additional per sample fee.
• Excluded: Asbestos removal/remediation.
• Notes: Per sample fee by an asbestos testing company, added to the base fee (TCR ASBT). Price for sample may be affected by factors such as type of materials tested, layers tested per sample, price structure of the company performing the work, local ordinances, etc. This item should be used in conjunction with item TCR ASBT and is not intended for a self test.
7. TCRASBTS Asbestos test fee - self test (per sample) (+) • Included: Laboratory analysis fee and contractor labor to take and send sample to local testing lab.
• Excluded: Asbestos removal/remediation.
• Notes: Labor per sample is based on a limited number of samples. For instances where several samples are taken, the labor yield may need to be reviewed/adjusted to reflect potential efficiencies when collecting and processing multiple samples at the same time. Factors such as expedited laboratory test fees (i.e. requiring faster than normal laboratory turnaround time) etc. may affect the price of the asbestos test fee. Use TCR ASBT or TCR ASBTS if needed, but not both.
8. TCRBASEC Combined test fee - full service survey - base fee (+) • Included: Laboratory full service base charge for combined tests (i.e., when testing for more than one substance).
• Excluded: Sample charges, see item TCR ASBTPS (asbestos per sample) and TCR LEADPS (lead per sample).
• Notes: This item is for a testing company/laboratory's base fee for a full service survey of more than one substance at a time and is not intended to be used in conjunction with the TCR ASBT and/or TCR LEAD items. It includes time to travel to the home, inspect, take samples, analyze, and report findings. This price does not include any per sample fees. Price for survey may be affected by factors such as type of materials tested, price structure of the company performing the work, quantity of samples taken, local ordinances, etc. As the pricing for a combined full service survey can have a potentially broad range, the estimator should review costs and make adjustments as necessary.
9. TCRBCEM Remove cement board (-) • Included: Labor to remove non-salvageable and/or contaminated cement backer board.
• Notes: The labor type used in this item is a trauma/crime scene cleaning technician.
