In this episode of Xact Hacks, Seth shows you how to import/export ESX files and change the profile of the estimate while it is in progress and/or already written. Subscribe to be notified of new Xact Hacks releases (every Thursday)! WRITTEN EXPLANATION: You can drag and drop ESX files from the Xactimate window to your desktop. You can also click Data Transfer in the top right under the Control Center and specify if you are sending/receiving (exporting/importing) and from what source (online, local) you are trying to send/receive. To change profile of an ESX file, right click the ESX in Xactimate and click Duplicate. Then specify which profile you would like the duplicated ESX file to have.
